Ireland

Private, No Landing - From the coast of North County Dublin, there is a privately owned island, kept relatively untouched by the contemporary world. The electricity is created from a wind turbine, water is heated by a stove, and what waste cannot be composted or recycled is burned. Without permission, it is illegal to step foot on this island; also, the owner's of the island discourage public interest, so I will refrain from using the island's proper name.

While Irish students celebrate the results of their accepted college prospects (or conversely bemoan the lack thereof), a working man waits, separated from the late-night activity.

While walking in the northern French countryside, Antoine Crombez pauses a moment before realizing it was only the wind that he heard, not a farmer about to yell at him for trespassing on his cornfield.

At the park by Notre Dame in Paris, a homesless man rests amongst the city pigeons.

Born and raised on an isolated island, Kim lives unfettered by societal constriants; she has never been tied to a leash and has never seen a car. She stands at the dock overlooking the Irish Sea, a recurring place of interest.

Ruth reunites with her husband and stepchildren for a family vacation off of the coast of Ireland. While in transit to the island, Ruth fondly explained that they call her their "wicked stepmother" as a term of endearment; using their thumbs and pointer-fingers to sign a W, furthering their notion of how cool she is.
